A Life In Music

MARTIN WORTHY toured for years as drummer with the legendary alt rock band Joe Hall And The Continental Drift and more recently with Porkbelly Futures. Sometime in between his singer-songwriter duo with Paul Quarrington yielded the #1 AOR hit “Baby And The Blues,” engineered by Daniel Lanois. He has written music for short films, television and radio and was awarded an Ontario and Toronto Arts Council grant to compose a series of songs inspired by Canadian novels.During those middle years he also worked as a piano technician-tuner. He is currently playing and recording with Collette Savard & The Savants and Stuart Laughton’s Radio Dial Band. Most recently he was also singing and playing percussion in the Beatles tribute show ONES. These days he can also be found writing and recording in his home studio in Riverdale, Toronto.
